President-elect Carter writes to a New Jersey congressman

TLS signed “Jimmy,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, December 17, 1976. Letter to Congressman Henry Helstoski, in full: "Thanks for understanding the difficulties of my schedule! Frank Moore will contact you in the immediate future. He is a close advisor of mine, and will be able to help you." In very good to fine condition, with a staple hole above the salutation, and tape on the back of the formerly-separated top fold. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, with "Office of the President-Elect" printed in the return address area.
