Description

ALS as president, signed “H.S.T.,” 5 x 7.75, White House letterhead, January 4, 1950. A handwritten memo to Mr. West, in full: "Call Jill's, No. 6020 and make an appointment for Mrs. Truman with Jean or Davis for any time Monday 8th. Tell Wilma to bring vitamin pills for Margaret to N.Y. They are wrapped in celaphane and probably are in Margie's cabinet. Tell Pennington to meet B. & O. National Limited at 7:30 A.M. Saturday at Union Station for baggage to go to N.Y." In fine condition, with a few small smudges.
