Unusual oversized 10.75 x 16.5 albumen photograph of the official portrait painting of First Lady Lucy Webb Hayes by Daniel Huntington, affixed to a 16 x 21 mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in ink, "To Mr. Basil Meek, with kindest regards, Rutherford B. Hayes, Spiegel Grove, 24 Oct. 1889." In very good condition, with toning, light staining to the bottom, a missing lower left corner tip, and heavy cracking to the right border which could mostly be matted out.
