TLS signed “Benj. Harrison,” one page, 8.5 x 5.5, personal letterhead, November 24, 1888. Letter to W. A. Bodine of Morristown, Indiana, just two weeks after winning the 1888 presidential election, in part: "Your telegram of congratulations has been received, but I have not been able sooner to express my high appreciation of your friendly words. The fellowship and support of my army comrades has brought me special gratification, and I am sure no other class of men made a larger or more patriotic and unselfish contribution to our success." In very good to fine condition, with light, irregular overall toning.
