American cartoonist (1901-1973) who created the hugely popular comic strip Blondie. Original vintage sketch of an attractive flapper girl with short dark hair by Chic Young, accomplished on an off-white 5.25 x 3.25 card, which is signed and inscribed, "To Olavi Mackey, with best wishes, Chic Young." In fine condition, with some light toning.
