Attractive set of seven pure silver medals honoring the seven moon-landing missions of the Apollo program, manufactured by the Medallic Art Co. of New York. The medals feature raised images of the crews on the front, and either a notable quote or moment on the reverse, with each medal measuring 2.5″ in diameter. The medals range in weight from 134 gm to 155 gm, and are marked with the following serial numbers on their respective edges: Apollo 11 (1245), Apollo 12 (7150), Apollo 13 (7153), Apollo 14 (7150), Apollo 15 (7150), Apollo 16 (7150), and Apollo 17 (7151). Includes the original presentation case with each medal's individual pamphlet. In fine condition, with overall wear to the case.
