Two items: a TLS signed "D. K. Slayton," one page, 8 x 10.5, NASA letterhead, March 6, 1973, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Ken Browne, in part: "Thank you very much for your kind note regarding my assignment to the Apollo/Soyuz program. We are looking forward to it very much. Enclosed is the autographed picture that you requested. We have not yet had one taken with the total crew, and probably will not for some time. However, I am sure they will be available once we have procured space suits, etc."; and an official color 8 x 10 NASA lithograph of Deke Slayton in a formal pose with the American flag visible in the background, signed and inscribed in black ink, "Best wishes to Joyce & Ken Browne—D. K. Slayton." In overall fine condition.
