Partly-printed DS, signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 11 x 8.5, February 22, 1904. Certificate of membership in the University Club of Washington, D.C., awarded to Albert Halstead, signed at the conclusion by Taft as the club's president. An embossed foil seal is affixed to the lower left. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, overall creasing, and a tear to the gold foil seal.
