Attractive color 6 x 4.5 engraving of H. Brown's 'The President's House, Washington,' which depicts the White House in a pastoral setting with a French style garden in the foreground, signed and inscribed on the original mat in black ink, "For Christine and Burl Stugard—with all the warmth that this season brings—Lady Bird and, Christmas 1967" and "Lyndon B. Johnson." Framed to an overall size of 12 x 10.75. In very good to fine condition, with toning to the mat. Christine Stugard served as LBJ's legislative assistant in the Senate and as Mrs. Johnson's social correspondence secretary in the White House.
