Letter to John Montgomery of the Junction City Daily Union, in full: "Thank you for your note and the copy of the speech you gave at Washburn University on May 5th. I was glad to get a copy of it and more than appreciate your thoughtfulness in remembering me with it." In very good to fine condition, with dampstaining, and associated rippling, to the left side; the signature is clean and unaffected. Accompanied by a press release copy of Truman's executive order to amend the order establishing the "President's Certificate of Merit."
