Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 23 x 19, May 20, 1922. President Harding appoints Mrs. Harriet Dek Woods of Illinois as "Superintendent of the Library Building and Grounds." Nicely signed at the conclusion by Harding and countersigned by Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes. The crisply embossed white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In fine condition, with minor creasing to edges.
