Do our Transactions L & P grow under the Press or is the work arrested for want of funds? Report speaks favorably of the connubial advances of our friend the Doctor. I shall rejoice if this most worthy man receives an allotment which will secure that happiness through life that he so well deserves. And I presume now as all your facilities are increased since the demise of Mr. Glover, that you will willingly substitute the protection of a husband for that of a father and make his daughter & yourself mutually, individually & collectively happy."
