Group of six notes and letters signed by baseball players and executives, including: Waite Hoyt (ALS, identifying a photo as "Brooklyn, road uniform, probably 1937 or 1938"), Larry Doyle (ALS, "I am pulling for the St. Louis Browns to win this year"), Gavvy Cravath (TLS, "My greatest thrills in my playing time in base ball was watching the reactions of the crowds"), John Heydler (ALS, "Always pull for the National Game. When you arrive at my age, it will be played all over the World"), Sam Crawford (ANS, noting his three teams), and Clyde Milan (ALS, "One of my thrills was when I stole 5 bases in 2 1/2 innings"). In overall fine condition.
