Glenn, Jr.," one page, NASA letterhead, no date, in part: "I deeply regret that the first day covers which you sent to me for autographing have not been returned to you. We are in the process of checking through the mail we have received to see if we can locate them. We regret that there have been some occasions like this where items have not been returned promptly…We will make every attempt to locate your covers and return them to you; and two FDCs with Project Mercury stamps, each signed in fountain pen, "J. H. Glenn, Jr." In overall fine condition, with light toning along the letter's mailing folds. Accompanied by an original NASA mailing envelope and unsigned Manned Spacecraft Center booklet entitled "Astronaut John H. Glenn, Jr., Friendship 7, February 20, 1962."
