Scarce glossy 8 x 10.25 half-length photo of Uris seated and writing at his desk, signed and inscribed in the lower border in black ink, "For The Brownes—Warmest regards—Shalom, Leon Uris.” Typed notations on reverse indicate that the signature was obtained in Hollywood in 1961. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and surface impressions from typed notations on the reverse. Uris remains quite uncommon in signed photographs—our first such example in over 13 years.
