Two ALSs, each signed "W. C. Bryant," one page, dated 1854 and 1870. The first, in part: "It is our intention to leave New York by the eight o'clock train on Tuesday morning." The second, in part: "In the 3d line of the Tenth Book is another error. The line should read, 'Save only Agamemnon' instead of 'All only Agamemnon.' There are several other corrections which will be proper to make when the work goes to another impression." In overall very good to fine condition.
