Written from Natick, a letter to his "Dear Brother John," in part: "Just received your note, and regret to find you are not so well as when we parted. You have many trials, but we must bear them. They will soon end and these I trust of Heavenly Father will reward us in a better Life. Trust in Him, dear brother and hope for the best. My health is better, but I go at the Doctor's request to California for a few weeks. I hope to visit you this summer."
