Letter to Mrs. John Hays Hammond, in part: "I am just off for another…trip & I cannot write you anything definite until I return.—Thank you so much. I am terribly hurried." Includes the original hand-addressed mailing envelope, which Cleveland has franked in the upper right; both the letter and envelope are affixed to an 8.75 x 6.75 sheet. In fine condition, with a piece of clear tape to the upper left corner.
