Two items: an official color 8 x 10 NASA lithograph of Slayton posing in his white space suit with a model of the docked Apollo-Soyuz Test Project spacecrafts, signed and inscribed in black ballpoint, "Best wishes to Ron Fendrick, DK Slayton"; and a TLS signed "DK Slayton," one page, 8.5 x 11, Space Services Inc. of America letterhead, December 15, 1983, addressed to a young fan, in part: “When I was your age I was most interested in becoming a farmer, but shortly thereafter I became interested in aviation. The most fun I had in the space program was flying on the Apollo-Soyuz. We did not have any frightening experiences, nor have most other people that have been in space.” In overall fine condition.
