Glossy 10 x 8 photo of Bradbury speaking at a podium with Bloch and his wife seated to his left, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip "For Gary Dorst, Best from, Ray Bradbury, 1967," and in black ballpoint, "Regards to Gary Dorst, from Robert Bloch, 1968.” Typed notations on reverse suggest that the photo originates from the personal collection of Bradbury, and reads, in part: "At the Surprise Banquet that 200 friends arranged for me for my 40th Anniversary in the sci-fi field and my 50th Anniversary on Earth." In fine condition, with Bloch's inscription rather light due to reduced ink flow.
