Vintage matte-finish 7.75 x 9.5 three-quarter-length photo of Baer posing in the ring with his boxing gear, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Larry this is before we met in 1933. This was taken 1929 Oakland—I was a young one here—Your pal, Max Baer, 1951.” In fine condition, with trimmed borders. Consignor notes that the recipient "Larry," was Robert Cameron, a championship Canadian rodeo rider known by the nickname 'Calgary Red.'
