American film director (1916-2001) during the classical period in Hollywood, most famous for the series of low-budget Westerns he made in the late 1950s starring Randolph Scott. Glossy 8 x 10 photo of the acclaimed director, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "For my young pal Chris, with my very best wishes, Budd Boetticher.” In fine condition. Boetticher is rare in any format, with this being the first signed picture we have ever offered.
