Hungarian-American actor and film director (1912-1989) who is best known for the 1965 film The Naked Prey; he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in 1945's A Song to Remember. Vintage glossy 8 x 10.25 studio portrait of Wilde in a handsome bust-length pose, signed and inscribed in black ink, "To Warren, Best wishes, Cornel Wilde.” In fine condition, with some light streaking to the emulsion.
