Uncommon 4.25 x 5 bookplate photo of McKinley working at his desk, affixed to the original 5.75 x 7.25 cardstock mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in fountain pen, "Dr. Marcus Benjamin, William McKinley.” In fine condition. Benjamin was a marine taxonomist and the longtime editor of publications for the United States National Museum; the mineral benjaminite was named in his honor.
