Gift tag featuring a colorful bird design, 2.25 x 4.75, signed and inscribed in black ballpoint to the famed milliner Philip Somerville, "Mr. Somerville, Happy Christmas, Elizabeth R." The front is dated "2001" in another hand. In fine condition, with a small area of surface loss to the picture side of the tag. Somerville was widely known for his hat designs worn by Queen Elizabeth II and Diana, Princess of Wales.
