TLS in Czech, signed “Dr. Edvard Benes,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 6.75 x 8.75, President Ceskoslovenske Republiky letterhead, November 10, 1947. In full (translated): "You have sent me a beautiful book about a beginning of the Revolutionary Committee signed by all main leaders, all my friends. It is sad that your husband, a heroic and virtuous man, who died during the last hard times, is not with us now. I was thinking about him all the time while I was reading this book. Thank you very much for everything—to him, to you." In fine condition.
