Civil War-dated ALS, one page, 5 x 8, February 1, 1864. In part: "Mrs. Greeley is attending a sick child…and I expect her to come down tonight to spend a few hours in the city. I cannot meet Mr. Smith at your house tomorrow morning unless she accompanies me. But if you will move another morning, two or three days ahead, I shall be most happy to do so." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Greeley's hand.
