Two items: vintage matte-finish 8 x 9.75 portrait of Vice President Richard Nixon, signed and inscribed in the lower border in blue fountain pen, "To Bob King, with appreciation for his dedicated service as a member of my Washington team, from his friend Dick Nixon.” And a TLS, one page, July 28, 1953, to Robert King of the Southern Comfort Corporation, thanking him for "the clever 'Rebel' glasses," adding a handwritten postscript, "We've made good use of them already!" In fine condition, with a trimmed top border and handwriting a bit faded on the photo, and intersecting folds to the letter.
