James Monroe

Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 16 x 10, November 13, 1822. President Monroe grants Armstrong Davidson of Ohio a parcel of land "in the district of Delaware, and State of Ohio, containing One hundred and Sixty acres." Neatly signed at the conclusion by Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office John McLean. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains fully intact. In very good to fine condition, with light toning and soiling.
