A complement [sic] coming from you, a man for whom I have great respect, means a lot to me. Life is good, Herb, and we are very, very happy." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Parmet had written Bush's first comprehensive biography, George Bush: The Life of a Lone Star Yankee, in 1997, during which time he had access to his personal papers.
