TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, State of New York, Executive Chamber letterhead, January 12, 1931. Letter to Herbert H. Gunnison, in full: "I received your letter wherein you tender your resignation as a Member of the Board of Visitors of the Brooklyn State Hospital. I must express my thanks to you for your unselfish service to the State for a period of eleven years and for the interest which you have shown in connection with the work. I am regretful of the fact that you resign therefrom but make acceptance in accordance with the provisions of the Public Officers Law." In fine condition, with creasing to the lower right corner and light stains to the upper corners from old mounting residue on the reverse.
