Highly sought-after Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols US promotional album signed on the front cover in black ballpoint by Sid Vicious, Steve Jones, and Paul Cook, and in black felt tip by Johnny Rotten. Lower right features a Warner Brothers "Promotional copy" label. In fine condition, with three of the signatures a shade light. The record is included. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Jeff Gold of Recordmecca, in part: "Vicious, Cook and Jones signed the album on January 8, 1978 at Randy's Rodeo, a club in San Antonio TX (they performed one of their few concerts there, on that date). Johnny Rotten wouldn't sign at the time, as he was busy doing interviews. He eventually signed the album during the Sex Pistols 1996 Filthy Lucre tour." The Sex Pistols embarked on a brief yet furious US tour in January 1978. Originally scheduled to start a few days before New Year’s, the band’s criminal records made American authorities reluctant to issue visas, resulting in the cancellation of the tour’s first four shows; the show at Randy's Rodeo was their third successful stop of the tour. The drug-addled and violent events of the band’s notorious US outing led to the disbanding of the Sex Pistols. A rare fully signed example of the first and only Sex Pistols studio album, highlighted by the presence of the ever-elusive Sid Vicious.
