Very early mailing envelope bearing a hand-embellished color cachet of a baseball player, postmarked October 29, 1937, vertically signed within the autograph field in black ink, "J. DiMaggio." In fine condition, with light soiling and wrinkling. This envelope was postmarked after DiMaggio's second full season in the Majors, and less than three weeks after the Yankees ousted the New York Giants in the World Series.
