Description

Eldest son and successor of Frederick William III of Prussia who reigned as king from 1840 to 1861. LS in French, one page both sides, 8.5 x 10.75, October 22, 1853. Letter to the King of the Two Sicilies, thanking him for sending the minister plenipotentiary to his court and for having conferred on his nephew the Order of St. Ferdinand. Matted and framed with the original envelope and description to an overall size of 22 x 16; the signature is concealed by the frame's backing. In fine condition.
