Letter to Colony of Rhode Island Governor Stephen Hopkins, in full: "I take the Earliest opportunity of Transmitting to You a Letter from the Secretary of State which I received under Cover Yesterday; The Dispatches were brought by a Sloop of War to Rhode Island and forwarded from thence to Me—." Professionally inlaid into a larger sheet and in fine condition.
