Very rare ALS signed “MF,” one page, 3.5 x 4.5, March 13, 1837. Letter to Mrs. Johnstone, in part: "It will give me much pleasure to see you any morn'g after two o'clock. I am getting much better tho' not able to leave my home but shall be very happy to see you and yours." Ink notations on the reverse indicate date of letter. In fine condition. Accompanied by the center address panel from the original mailing envelope, addressed in the hand of Fitzherbert, who passed away just two weeks after writing this letter.
