ALS signed ?Ron,? one page, 6.25 x 4.25, personal letterhead, September 20, 1989. Letter to "Ford & Norma," in part: "Thanks for your letter and generous words, I'm more grateful than I can say. Thank you too for your prayers. They were answered. I have had an almost instant recovery, am home & feeling just great." Mounted, matted, and framed to an overall size of 10 x 8. In fine condition, with a few very small blemishes. The original mailing envelope, addressed in Reagan's hand and bearing a pre-printed free frank, is affixed to the frame's backing. In September 1989, Reagan underwent surgery to remove fluid on his brain attributed to an incident a few months earlier in which he was knocked off a horse in Mexico. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
