Vintage sepia matte-finish 10 x 13.75 three-quarter-length portrait of Fields by Strauss–Peyton, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To my friend Bill Kurth, from his friend, Bill Fields, Nov. 21—1919.” Reverse bears a Strauss–Peyton copyright stamp. In very good condition, with trimmed edges, scattered soiling, a light crease from the left edge to Fields’ chest, and areas of silvering to central portion of image and the lower edge.
