DS, signed “John Beverly,” one page, 8.5 x 11, January 3, 1978. Rider to a contract between Glitterbest, Inc., and Kingfish/Danny Kerticy, in which the latter agrees to furnish services for the Sex Pistols. Signed at the conclusion by Beverly. In fine condition. The Sex Pistols embarked on a brief yet furious US tour in January 1978. Originally scheduled to start a few days before New Year’s, the band’s criminal records made American authorities reluctant to issue visas, resulting in the cancellation of the tour’s first four shows, with Vicious signing this rider on the date of the last canceled show at Virginia’s Alexandria Roller Rink. The drug-addled and violent events of the band’s notorious US tour led to the disbanding of the Sex Pistols. Vicious remains scarce across all formats, with this rider enhanced furthermore by the presence of his given name. Pre-certified REAL.
