Exceptional vintage glossy 7.5 x 9.5 portrait of Hughes in a dashing suit and tie, boldly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Chief Britto, with my very best wishes, Howard Hughes.” In fine condition, with slightly trimmed edges. Accompanied by a photocopy of the original transmittal letter to the chief of police of Bethel, Connecticut, dated October 10, 1940. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
