Irish-born American sculptor (1848–1907) of the Beaux-Arts generation who embodied the ideals of the ‘American Renaissance.’ Ink signature, “Augustus St. Gaudens,” on an off-white clipped slip affixed to a 6 x 9.5 album page nicely hand-embellished with a calligraphic title and postage stamp honoring the artist. In fine condition.
