Description

Jack Steinberger

Physicist (born 1921) who co-discovered the muon neutrino and was awarded the 1988 Nobel Prize in Physics. Handwritten manuscript, initialed “J. S.,” three pages, 8.25 x 11.75, circa 1986. Complex scientific manuscript, headed, “Probability the an electron, energy Ee will be counted as a hadron.” Includes a 1989 ALS in German, signed “J. Steinberger.” In fine condition, with a small tear to the bottom edge of the letter. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
