Souvenir typescript of an official letter from General Thomas Handy, one page, 8 x 9.75, originally dated July 25, 1945, addressed to General Carl Spears, commanding general of the United States Army Strategic Air Force, announcing preparations for the dropping of the atomic bomb. Signed in blue ink and felt tip by Paul Tibbets, Tom Ferebee, and Theodore Van Kirk, all adding their flight assignments. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
