Percy Grainger

Well-regarded Australian-born pianist, conductor, and composer (1882–1961) best known for his folk settings and colorful experimental works. Three items signed by Grainger, including: a postcard photo signed and inscribed in black ink to his Danish concert manager Niels Hoeg, with an untranslated note on the reverse; an AMQS with four bars from ‘Irish Tune from County Derry,’ commonly known as ‘Londonderry Air’ or ‘Danny Boy’; and a program for a town hall recital on April 9, 1940, signed on the front cover. In overall very good to fine condition, with the program having a reinforced spine. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
