Dickens, in part: “I wrote you a note two or three days since requesting you to give me, for the information of the President, who has misplaced the copy of the Journal forwarded him, the vote of the Senate on the nomination of Mr. Birch.” Reverse of the second integral page addressed in Calhoun’s own hand. In fine condition, with paper loss and mounting remnants to reverse of second integral page. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
