Partial partly-printed DS as president, one page, 16.5 x 4.5, October 3, 1885. Concluding portion of a letters patent signed by President Cleveland and countersigned by Secretary of State Thomas F. Bayard. Nicely matted and framed with a portrait of Cleveland. Reverse bears a Goodspeed’s Book Shop label. In fine condition, with trimmed edges and a thin stain to the lower right.
