John Barbirolli

British conductor of the Halle Orchestra (1899–1970) who previously served as Arturo Toscanini's successor as music director of the New York Philharmonic. Glossy 7.25 x 9.5 photo of Barbirolli with his hands folded on a tabletop, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “For Felicitas [Timpe], with admiration & thanks, John Barbirolli.” Signed on the reverse in the exact same manner. Reverse bears a Foto Felicitas photography stamp. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
