Russian composer (1875–1956) who concentrated primarily on monumental operas, ballets, and cantatas. Scarce vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 photo of Gliere seated in a chair, signed in fountain pen, “R. Gliere.” In fine condition, with slight silvering to dark areas of the image and mounting remnants to reverse. Only the second signed photo we have offered of the revered Russian composer. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
