Nice set of six letters from Mamie Eisenhower, consisting of five TLSs on White House letterhead and one ALS on a personal stationery card, ranging in size from 3.75 x 6 to 6 x 9.25, dated between 1943 and 1958. The ALS signed “Mamie,” dated March 13, 1943, addressed to Mary Allen, in part: “You were a sweet thing to drive us to the station on Sunday—was such a treat instead of a Taxi—The compact has never left my bag and it is so pretty I powder my nose just to show it off”; a TLS signed “Mamie Doud Eisenhower,” dated February 20, 1957, addressed to Helen, in part: “You gave each of us so much pleasure on our ‘fortieth’ with your gay card and, especially, your delicious sweets! No one could resist your ‘Pixies’—least of all, me!” In overall fine condition. Accompanied by two original mailing envelopes. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
