Description

Daniel Carroll

Founding Father of the United States (1730-1796). He was a prominent member of one of America's great colonial families that included his cousin Charles Carroll of Carrollton who signed the Declaration of Independence. He was one of only five men to sign both the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution of the United States. Hand-addressed free frank panel, 5.5 x 3.25, addressed in Carroll’s hand to “The Hon’ble Thomas Fitzsimmons Esq, Philadelphia,” and franked in the upper right, “Free–Danl Carroll.” In very good condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
